Troilus Mining Corp. (formerly Troilus Gold Corp.) is a Canadian development-stage mining company focused on the responsible advancement of its flagship gold and copper Troilus Project in north-central Quebec. The company's primary asset is the 100%-owned Troilus property, which covers approximately 435 square kilometers within the prolific Frotêt-Evans Greenstone Belt. From 1996 to 2010, the Troilus mine operated as an open-pit mine, producing over two million ounces of gold and nearly 70,000 tonnes of copper. Troilus Mining is currently redeveloping the site as a large-scale, long-life open-pit operation. A Feasibility Study completed in May 2024 supports a 22-year mine life with a 50,000-tonne-per-day operation, projecting average annual payable production of approximately 244,600 ounces of gold, 17.3 million pounds of copper, and 446,700 ounces of silver. The company benefits from significant legacy infrastructure worth approximately US$500 million, including a 50MW substation, power lines, a permitted tailings facility, and a well-maintained road network. As a pre-revenue company, Troilus does not currently generate operating revenue and is focused on securing project financing, completing detailed engineering, and obtaining final environmental and construction permits to advance the project toward commercial production.
