Terra Innovatum Global N.V. is a nuclear energy technology developer focused on the design and commercialization of micro-modular reactors (MMRs). Founded in Italy in 2018 and taken public via a SPAC merger in 2025, the company aims to address global energy demands with scalable, zero-carbon power generation. Its core product is the SOLO™ reactor, a compact, helium-cooled, and graphite-moderated system that fits within a 10-cubic-meter footprint. Each SOLO unit is designed to generate 1 megawatt electric (MWe) and 4-5 megawatts thermal (MWth) using widely available low-enriched uranium (LEU) fuel, capable of running for up to 15 years without refueling.
Terra Innovatum operates an outsourced, factory-based manufacturing model, partnering with established nuclear component suppliers like ATB Riva Calzoni to produce and assemble the reactors. This approach is intended to minimize supply chain risks, reduce the levelized cost of energy (LCOE), and enable rapid on-site deployment. The company targets a diverse range of end markets requiring reliable, off-grid, or dedicated baseload power, including hyperscale data centers, mining operations, chemical plants, water desalination facilities, and remote mini-grids. Currently in the pre-revenue stage, Terra Innovatum is actively navigating the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) licensing process, with a goal of deploying its first-of-a-kind (FOAK) commercial reactor by 2027 or 2028.
