Nexa Resources S.A. is a large-scale, vertically integrated base metals producer that ranks among the world's top zinc miners. The company operates five long-life polymetallic mines, including Cerro Lindo, El Porvenir, and Atacocha in Peru, as well as Vazante and Aripuanã in Brazil. In addition to its upstream mining operations, Nexa owns and operates three zinc smelters—Cajamarquilla in Peru, and Três Marias and Juiz de Fora in Brazil—allowing it to process a significant portion of its own concentrates. While zinc is its primary product, the company also extracts and processes copper, lead, silver, and gold byproducts. Nexa supplies refined metal products and concentrates to metal traders and industrial customers for use in galvanizing steel, manufacturing, and construction. The company is majority-owned by the Brazilian industrial conglomerate Votorantim S.A.
