Meridian Mining Plc is a UK-headquartered, pre-revenue resource development and exploration company primarily focused on polymetallic projects in Brazil. The company's cornerstone asset is the Cabaçal project, an advanced-stage copper-gold-silver volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposit located in the state of Mato Grosso. According to its 2025 Pre-Feasibility Study, Cabaçal is expected to operate as a conventional open-pit mine with a 10-year mine life, targeting an average annual production of approximately 141,000 gold-equivalent ounces. The project's proven and probable reserves contain a near-even economic split between gold and copper, alongside silver by-products.
