Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. is an Israel-based provider of satellite-based broadband communications technology and networking solutions. The company designs and manufactures satellite ground segment equipment, including very small aperture terminals (VSATs), modems, antennas, and solid-state power amplifiers. Gilat operates through three primary business segments: Commercial, Defense, and Peru, the latter of which focuses on terrestrial infrastructure projects. Its products and turnkey solutions enable in-flight connectivity, maritime mobility, cellular backhaul, and defense-grade tactical communications. Rather than operating its own satellite constellations, Gilat supplies the critical ground infrastructure and network management software used by major satellite operators, telecommunications carriers, and government agencies globally.
