Cenovus Energy Inc. operates through several key segments: Oil Sands, Conventional, Offshore, Canadian Refining, and U.S. Refining. Its upstream portfolio is anchored by significant oil sands projects in northern Alberta, which utilize steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) technology, alongside conventional crude oil and natural gas assets across Western Canada. Downstream, Cenovus owns and operates upgrading and refining facilities in Canada and the United States, producing transportation fuels and chemical products.
